The author of first goal in Karpaty vs. Sevastopol game has told us why he takes his shirt off after scoring a goal.

-    Mykhaylo, probably the whole stadium was worried for you not to score a second goal…
-    Not to be afraid of. I’m not out of my mind. Those were emotions because I’m not scoring as often as Serhiy Kuznetsov does. For me a goal is like Christmas, like New Year’s Day. It’s only my second for Karpaty. Kuznetsov scores every day – it’s like to have some eat for him. So when I score I take my shirt off.

-    But you will be penalized for it probably…
-    Let’s hope they will not pay attention.

-    It was all too fast. Do you remember how you scored?
-    Batista got through, passed the ball to Baranets, who on his part one-timed it to me. I turned around and took a shot instantly. I didn’t even take a look at where the goal is.

-    It looked from the stands as though expect for a few minutes of the second half Karpaty has had it easy against Sevastopol.
-    Sure, it all looks easy from the stands. It was hard to play, since most of the players lack a game practice, and we came out on the pitch for the first time with a lineup like this. It’s good that we’ve managed to win. Even when the score was 1-1, we proved that we are stronger than our counterparts.

-    Did it become easier to play when “heavy artillery” came out on the pitch?
-    Of course. Both Serhiy and Oleh helped to pressure Sevastopol. We all got tired a little, including me. They have added some fresh blood, and our opponent fell apart. We could’ve scored a third one, but Batista got slightly unlucky.
