After presentation by the Honorary president the new head coach of the green-and-whites answered questions from the Information Center.

- I am very grateful for the opportunity to be the head coach of this team, which Petro Dyminskyy had given to me. After all, I have never concealed the fact that working in Karpaty was my dream. And then the sportive director of FC Karpaty turned to me and asked whether I would like to become a head coach of the Lviv team. I was very pleased, but I wanted act in a civilized way and complete my duties in Oleksanriya. And then I received another phone call from with an offer to come to Lviv for a discussion. We discussed with Mr Dyminskyy all points and came to agreement.

- What would you like to tell Karpaty supporters?
- Karpaty supporters have always treated me well. Karpaty players, including me at some point in past, always reciprocated their feelings. I am still convinced that neither Ukrainian club has such fantastic supporters. That is why there is such an intention to please them with good performances satisfactory for everyone.

- It is not a secret that for several years Karpaty have been basing their play on the same model. Are you also a fan of attacking football or you will introduce changes?
- Definitely I prefer attacking, aggressive, entertaining football. In Oleksandriya we tried to teach players to play this way and they did their best. We tried to play football and get satisfaction out of that. This is what I want to be here. We all have to get satisfaction out of attacking style of the Karpaty team.

- Have you already checked the infrastructure of the club?
- Unfortunately I have not yet. I did not visit the new stadium and the new training and recreational centre. But I was impressed with the things I saw. Karpaty have everything – gym, swimming pool, perfect pitches, in few words - all necessary facilities for good work.
