FC Karpaty’s flight to Antalya for the first training camp was delayed due to unfavourable weather conditions. Because of that the schedule of team’s transfer to Side, where the green-and-whites should spend next two weeks, has also been changed almost completely.

Plane with the team left for Turkey four hours behind the schedule. It took 1,5 hours to get to Istanbul, some players took a nap, some guys used their laptops. For example, the Brazilian midfielder Eric was watching the last official match of FC Karpaty against Dynamo Kyiv. Lucas, who was sitting next to Eric and was listening to the music, finally decided to join his colleague actively discussing their own actions and moves of the opposing team.

The plane landed in Istanbul at 19:30. Next three hours footballers spent waiting for a plane to Antalya, while browsing the internet and communicate with relatives and close friends. Only Ihor Ozarkiv and Volodymyr Hudyma could not wait without a ball. So they played few matches of virtual football. Recent birthday boy Ozarkiv turned out to be better in a computer game. We will see how it will be during the training camp.

From Antalya the team went by bus to Side. Due to late arrival to the place for the training camp the team’s coaching staff decided to correct the first day of training process. Instead of two trainings players will have only one, after lunch.
