Next ten days the Karpaty reserve team, which is preparing for the last ten rounds of the Championship of Ukraine (season 2011/2012), will spend in neighboring Transcarpathia.

Today in the morning, at 07:30, the club’s bus with the reserve team on board left for Transcarpathia, where from 1st till 11th February Karpaty juniors will have the second stage of preparations to the Spring part of the Championship. Karpaty reserve team will reside in the hotel complex ‘Camelot’ and will be able to train on two pitches of standard dimensions (one with artificial and another with natural turf), gym, sports hall as well as swimming pool, sauna and massage rooms.

The head coach Andriy Sapuha and his assistants Oleksandr Chyzhevskyy and Oleh Venchak took for the training camp 21 outfield players and 3 goalkeepers including 4 graduates from FC Karpaty Academy and FC Karpaty Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve (2 persons from each institution).

Apart from daily trainings (twice trainings per day) according to the plan there will be 3 friendly matches, first of which will take place tomorrow on 2 February against FC Hoverla-Zakarpattya, which is currently one of leaders in the second Ukrainian division. On 6 February another match was scheduled against a club participating in the Championship of Transcarpathia. But according to Mr Sapuha it is possible that instead of that match there will be a game between two sides of Karpaty reserve team. On 10 February the Lviv team will take on FC Serednye, which participates in the regional amateur league.

On 11 February Karpaty juniors will have rehabilitation procedures and after lunch will go back home on the club’s bus. And on 14 February the green-and-white reserve will go to Crimea, where in Yevpatoriya at the training centre Liana they will spend the final stage of preparations for the Spring part of the Championship of Ukraine.
